In The House Of Our Fathers

September, 1961: The streets of London are increasingly unsafe as civil unrest grows and people everywhere are faced with a choice between what is right, and what is easy – but none of this seems to trouble Walburga and Orion Black, Heads to the Noble and Most Ancient House of Black. They’re more concerned with getting a decent night’s sleep, something they haven’t been able to get ever since they got Sirius. Now their second son, Regulus, has been born, they can just about say goodbye to their former lives forever.

Chapter one was originally the prologue of Black Beginnings, but I decided to expand on it because I have a lot more to say about this family during the early 60s. There is no real "plot", it's just Walburga and Orion trying to figure out how to do the whole parenting thing when they haven't even really figured out how to do the whole married people thing yet. Basically, domestic fluff with a Black family twist!
